Got to get back to writing on here

Hey all,
As the title hints at...I should really start doing this more often...even it's more like a journal of musings or something...that way, so many of my good and bad life experiences won't be left by the wayside of my memory. :) So, anyways, I plan to write more as I have time. As of now, I have a mandatory bedtime of midnight, since I'm getting up around 7:30 am. Otherwise, I would be writing more, even now. But, this is as good a start as any. "I'm diving in!" - Steven Curtis Chapman. :P :) Hold on tight, folks!

Lack of Snow!

In keeping with my previous theme, I'm discussing our lack of snow! Even though it is really part of the appropriate weather at this time... ;) :-P

But, life's been good and busy, at the same time... I have been working up a storm at McDonald's at the airport...I love the camaraderie we share there. The only bad part might be that we can get pretty slow.....but, at the same time, we probably would be able to close up at an appropriate time either... :) God has His ways of working things out.

I've also been relatively busy helping Co out as an intern in the church office. It's always a good busy time with fun anecdotes! :) But, beware, Co is verrry convincing at one to drink coffee!! NOOO! :-P ;)

Meanwhile, in all my spare time, I'm reading so many good books. Some that I've already finished this spring/summer, are: Stepping Heavenward - Elizabeth Prentiss; Bright Arrows - Grace Livingston Hill; The Parting, The Forbidden, The Longing - Beverly Lewis; and I'm in the midst of a book borrowed from Jo called When God Writes Your Love Story - Eric & Leslie Ludy, which is absolutely great, btw... :) ...I've been seeing and slowly realizing the truths in this book for awhile now...but, it's so good to read it from their perspective, as well.....I'm hoping that I can actually grasp what they and others have so often talked and rejoiced about.....an amazing love relationship with our Savior...and a possible one with who He might have for me... :) Thanks to God for His unfathomable patience with me!

Later for now...I've got to get to work for 12-9 pm...

SNOW!!

It has been two months exactly since I last updated! And now we finally have some snow! It took until February 14 (Valentine's Day), for God to send some much needed water for the ground and mountains (:-) for the rest of us. It will be very interesting navigating around now, but somehow God will help us to do it. I can't wait until we go on teh NYSUM trip on Sunday, but I am a bit apprehensive about what could happen. I will put it all in God's Hands and He will help me discover the purpose He has for my life. I really want to know where and in which direction He wants me to go. I want to please Him so much. Esther, in the Bible, is a wonderful woman and I want to emulate her lifestyle someday. This is my favorite verse:
"For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" - Esther 4:14
Anyway, I will write more later....

Hello, my name is Heather and I can't put a lot in here, because I have to go and eat dinner, do schoolwork, and so many more things. I hope to post here more frequently than I have on my previous blog, but time will tell. :-)
